Monika Sosnowska

From March 15, 2025, the internationally renowned sculptor Monika Sosnowska (*1972) will present several monumental sculptures made of painted steel in the central atrium space of the Modern Gallery extension. Sosnowska's equally bulky and poetic architectural paraphrases, often derived from deformed building elements, pose questions about history, memory and identity. In the 14-metre-high domed hall, hanging sculptures and floor works are combined to create an exciting ensemble.
