The Bank of China tower in Hong Kong, the titular and formal inspiration for the new painting, is featured in Morris’s latest film. The painting reimagines the multi-towered architectural facade through the artist's signature vivid geometries, considering Hong Kong’s role as a global economic center. Morris’ paintings, as she has described previously, are interested in mapping ‘urban, social and bureaucratic typologies’.Exhibitions
