'NEVER TIRE' comprises a series of drawings, varying in size, crafted using spray paint and tempera on archival paper. These drawings possess an almost abstract quality, featuring minimal renditions of identifiable elements. For instance, certain pieces feature a geometric pattern in the background reminiscent of metal mesh grids. Among these works, loosely positioned chains are occasionally depicted — either in stillness or in a swaying motion. Predominantly, the works incorporate text elements painted in pink or coral tempera against their patterned backdrop. The chosen typography involves stenciled letters in a serif font.
Through the combination of spray paint and tempera, the series juxtaposes two distinct painting techniques and their respective cultural associations. Tempera, considered an ancient technique, is associated with classical and religious genres of painting. On the other hand, spray paint is an industrial medium widely utilized in manufacturing processes and is often linked to graffiti and street art.
